Well done to everyone who entered.
In our first topic winning selection this week by CosmicGAZ Halloween night takes a turn for the truly terrifying when a notorious Trick-or-treater has the door slammed in her face!
We loved the slow build, character drama, and ramping up of tension, which leads hilariously to the screaming finale.
Also, don’t miss the post animation epilogue pic:
It seems after all, it’s just another successful Hallow’s night for Gaze and her enormous sack of candy!
Wacky’s neighbor Phillip strongly regrets his stinginess with candy on All Hallow’s Eve, in our next topic winner by Jake.
Featuring excellent Halloween outfits including Phillip as Super Mario, and Wacky as a creepy teddy bear, it turns out that the real fright is yet to come, in the form of a spectacular costume bursting jump-scare by the enraged Trick-or-treater himself.
Phillip……..Will you never learn!
When a zombie rises from its grave, it meets with an unfortunate lightning based incident, in this hysterically dark humored topic winning entry by Creaky.
We really shouldn’t laugh, poor chap………”Stifled snorting giggles”
The wonderful fluidity and drifting motion of a spooky ghost in this spirited entry by The Sparks quite took our breath away, as well as scaring our socks off!
Its use of color is also highly effective. By rendering the background in blue and using the white paper color for the ghost character, it feels like the Flipnote pallet has gained an extra color.
Very nicely done!

An eerie abandoned mall is the setting for this tale of terror, created by Gummi☆.
In the style of a first person video game, the arrow suggests opening the door.
But following instructions result in becoming a permanent resident of this darkened basement corridor.
What a spook-tastic idea!
Conjured up by •♥Bunny♥•, there is clearly more to this unsettling feline entity than just your average cat.
Whatever you do, don’t try to give him a saucer of milk!
Original character: "Fuzz" created by CerealBowl.
A candy giver deals with a greedy ghost in true Halloween fashion when she transforms into a genuine witch to give chase, in this Weekly Topic winning Flipnote by Lタル2ソースS.A.
With perfect timing, great choreographed movement, and creative transitions, a host of spine tingling characters dance Halloween night away in this toe tapping colorful MV by Shadow.
Happy Spook-tober everyone, it’s Halloween!
