And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Bouncy Castles".
Well done to everyone who entered.
Pencil man has an extremely piercing experience on a bouncy castle in this air-blasting Weekly Topic winning Flipnote by Tugay Dost.
Including great character design and vocal performance, as well as creative movement techniques, both the punchline and pencilman himself hits home with a thumbs-up and a hilarious thud!
This fully animated bouncy castle by Sawyer is proving endless fun for the stick man inside.
We also loved the use of cartoon sound effects, which add greatly to the comedy action!
This super colorful bouncy castle created by Glin is simply candy to the eye!
Rendered with strong hi-lights and shade, the 3D Inflatable really jumps off the page, as does the stickman who’s having enormous fun.
This splendid looking bouncy castle, created by Creaky has turrets, a drawbridge, and an entrance arch.
It also has the unnerving habit of completely deflating when bounced upon.
Stick people beware!
"That one kid" goes on a rip-roaring romp around a crazy bounce house in this action packed topic winner by Dermor~.
We loved the use of dual color layers to split the character from the backgrounds. It works really well for the dynamic movements.
To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Flipnote Hatena shutdown this week's topic is “Flipnote Hatena”.
Flipnote Hatena was the original site that allowed Flipnote Studio creators to share their Flipnotes on-line.
Set up by Nintendo for the DSi, it ran from 2008 to 2013, exhibiting millions of Flipnotes made by its highly creative community. It also had its very own Weekly Topic Competition, just as we have on Sudomemo today.
Your entries could focus on Hatena itself, its Flipnotes, its creators, or the emotional time of its shutdown.
They could be new creations, inspirations, re-imaginings, spin-offs, compilations, or any other ideas you have based on Flipnote Hatena.
If your entry is a spinoff, don’t forget to mention it in your description, so we can work that into our reviews.
We’d also love to see submissions from old Hatena creators for this topic.
So also let us know in your descriptions if you were on the original Hatena, so we can include that in our reviews as well. We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Flipnote Hatena 10th Anniversary and the deadline for your entries is June the 4th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).
And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.
Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
