And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Snow Globes".
Well done to everyone who entered.
This beautiful Topic winning animation by Cosmirage features a jolly snowman very much at home in his magical snow globe world.
The scene is brought expertly to life with a 4 frame cycling snowy blizzard, a strong paintbrush textured spherical highlight, and a cascading color change from red to blue. Which contrasts nicely with the purple globe interior, and makes it really stand out.
A mind blowing snow globe holds a world within a world in this surreal Topic winning Flipnote by brasun.
But whose world does it hold?
Let’s see what happens when it’s shaken!
Using different animation tools and techniques Sawyer experiments creatively with shaken snowflake particle movement in this wonderfully wintry snow globe animation.
Ding-Dong Merrily on hi guys and gals.
Christmas is here again!
At this magical time of year traditions such as tree decorating, gift giving, festive feasting, cracker pulling and Carol singing celebrate the Nativity and embody the Yuletide spirit and good will to all!
But of course the magic doesn’t stop there, as Santa will also be traveling the world on his reindeer driven sleigh, and squeezing down chimneys to leave presents in our stockings and under our Christmas trees.
Your Flipnotes could celebrate Christmas in any way you like;
How about making an animated Christmas card, a festive comedy skit, a Yuletide parody advert, or a holly jolly MV?
And don’t forget about your OCs and PCs. Why not dress them up as Christmas elves, or give them a go at driving Santa’s sleigh.
Now that could bring on some serious Xmas antics!
Whatever you decide, make sure you have huge amounts of fun making it!
We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Christmas 2024 and the deadline for your entries is December the 29th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).
We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.
And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.
The best of luck with your entries, and have a very merry Christmas one and all!
