Hey there everyone, DeepRising here with the Weekly Newsletter and Weekly Topic competition.
We had a great response to last week's fandom topic “Shrek”, and a selection of our favorite winning entries are coming up.
But first, we'd like to remind you of our ongoing fund raising activities.
We're still trying to raise more cash this month for additional Sudomemo expenditures, and would be greatly appreciative for any and all donations we receive.

And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Shrek".
Well done to everyone who entered.
Admiring his own reflection in a magical swamp mirror, Shrek loses his cool completely when it changes into an all too familiar waffle loving form in this Fairy tale inspired Topic winning entry created by Coliwogg.
The line drawing, brush shading, and animation come together beautifully to create these iconic CGI characters.
When his swamp becomes way too overcrowded, an seriously enraged Shrek does ‘The Roar’ in this tantrum-tastic Topic winner by Flame.
Although, hilariously, his monstrous outburst has quite the opposite effect that was intended!
In Shrek’s swamp, when the sign says “Do Not Disturb!” you’d better pay attention, in this Wacky-Esque winning Topic Flipnote made by Jake.
An excellent piece of character animation, Wacky’s ogreish performance includes lip-synch, figurative perspective, and motion blur multiple imagery for furiously great results.
A busy Flipnote session is interrupted when Shrek pays a terrifying house call in this gate crashing Topic winner by esoteric♠.
But what do you know, it’s Donkey that he wants after all!
A bamboozling game of swamp Tetris disturbs Shrek’s peace and quiet yet again in this highly entertaining winning MV by Sep Sep.
Expressively animated with extreme squash and stretch, it’s also perfectly timed to the music track.
An endless loop of revenge sees a jealous Shrek repeatedly punishing a heckling Prince Charming in this Topic winner by Rac0notes.
The voice acting, and character costumes are also very nicely done.
Monster Truck Definition: An extremely large pickup truck with greatly over sized tires.
Monster Trucks are synonymous with car-crushing carnage, roaring engines, imaginative paint jobs, and of course ENORMOUS WHEELS!
Showcased and stunt driven at Monster Truck Rallies and Jams, these incredible vehicles are pure turbo-charged destruction, and utterly Awesome to watch!
Your Flipnotes could include Monster trucks in any way you like;
Design and animate your own personalized trucks, with OC drivers at the wheel, rev-up a mud-spraying illustration, or even ignite a Monster Truck MV.
Whatever your decision, blow us out of our socks with your monstrous creations on wheels!
We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Monster Trucks and the deadline for your entries is August 18th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).
We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.
And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.
Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
