And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "River Rafting".

Well done to everyone who entered.

When the ‘Mini-Gun Guy’ takes to the river, his raft is completely swamped by amphibian passengers in this Topic winning, Flipnote frog catastrophe by Peanut.

The animated animal wrangling builds from a single frog upon the bonce to a multiple web-footed onslaught, until of course, the inevitable explosive reaction occurs!

The joyful tranquility of a rafter on the river is somewhat marred when, in an instant they find themselves in a waterfall nightmare in this tide-turning, topic winner by M4RC3L0.

Thank goodness they’re OK! With a big thumbs up, and perhaps a life vest!

How to make an ingenious shovel powered river raft is the subject of this highly informative instructional Flipnote by Nacho⬅⬆⬇➡📱.

Dig those oars in deep for maximum row-ability!

Taken completely by surprise, a river traveler plunges to their watery doom off the top of a terrifyingly treacherous aqueduct in this comedy-disaster style, winning Topic entry by Kraig.

A rafting enthusiast encounters one of the river’s most deadliest predators, the piranha fish, in this hilarious Flipnote winner by dash.

Now that’s gonna need considerably more than a band-aid!

This Weeks Topic - "Lava Lamps"

The lava lamp is a decorative lamp constructed of a glass container filled with liquid and wax that is heated by an incandescent bulb, which melts the wax and causes it to form random shapes within the liquid, known as mathmos.

Beautiful to watch, its elongated and droplet-like wax forms churn and surge, as if in slow motion, within the confines of the glass. And as such, could be very interesting to animate.

Your Flipnotes could feature, or be inspired by the lava lamp in any way you like.

A smooth moving mathmos animation would be a challenge for sure!

But other ideas such as lava lamp variations, reimaginings, repurposings, or mixing that mathmos look with other concepts or characters could prove highly entertaining, and be loads of fun.

Why not try animating anything you choose like the metamorphing lava in the lamp!

Just go with the flow, and get bubbling!

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Lava Lamps and the deadline for your entries is July 28th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
