Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Rabbits"

Our first topic winning selection this week is this astounding Teaser-WIP by Zorch.

While out for a stroll on a fine summer's day, a cartoon rabbit comes across a shiny new carrot eatery, and immediately pays it a visit.

Full of fascinating rabbit customers and quantities of delicious carrot juice, this alone was enough to get us hooked. But with a drawing style and animation techniques that utterly blew us away, combined with a whimsical, euphonious sound track, we were left hungering for more.

Stay tuned for the full Flipnote release, coming soon!

We absolutely can’t wait…..

In our next topic winning selection, by CosmicGAZ, OC Gaze returns home with two new pet rabbits.

Wait, make that four, no eight….

And then quicker than a shake of a rabbit’s tail, the house is literally bursting with them!

Expertly drawn and animated, with great characters and cartoon effects, it tells the story very effectively as it builds to its hilarious comedy punch-line.

Also, don’t miss the epilogue-illustration-frame at the end, to see what happens afterwards.

This toe-tapping MV, by Kaywee, is all about the love of the bunny

With strong character poses and a creative editing approach, it plays beautifully on loop as a baritone serenade to our long eared fluffy friends.

Wacky makes the big mistake of winning a game of Connect-Four against a Raving Rabbid in this fantastic topic winner by Jake.

Not known for their calm demeanor, the Rabbid is not a good sport. And he finds a whole new use for the game board when he takes out his loser-tantrum-fury on poor Wacky’s head.

A terrifying bunny from Friday Night At Freddie's buys an astonishing amount of thin mints in this winning topic entry by Madyx.

Now that really is a successful sale for any door-to-door charity fundraiser!

With the use of a carrot-lure, a rabbit is caught in a trap.

However, when the box is lifted, a Raving Rabbid lies within, in this switcheroo topic winning entry by JoseFigueC.

"Ooooh, thank goodness! Now that he’s eating the carrot, he’s calm again…."

An old Hatena classic is given a hysterical rabbit twist in this winning topic Flipnote by MaxTanner.

Checkout that incredible lipsynch!

It’s as outlandish as the answer is bewildering.

“Oo-mee-noo-mee-noome-nooo!”

We really enjoyed the excellent follow through animation of the lovable jumping bunny, in our final topic selection this week, by RZStar~☆.

This Weeks Topic - "Opposites"

This week's topic is all about opposites!

These could be contrasting ideas, concepts, personalities, places, or things that are totally different from one another.

Here are some examples of opposites:

Good and Bad, tall and short, happy and sad, strong and weak, heavy and light, soft and hard, and quiet and noisy.

And how about clashing character types? They’re known as chalk and cheese.

Feel free to try any of these for your topic Flipnotes, or use any other ones that you can think of.

Whichever opposites you decide upon, it would be a great idea to illustrate the differences between them in your animation, and really emphasize the extremes.

Let’s all have fun making a contrasting, opposing, conflicting, contradictory, or just plain opposite Flipnote. .

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Opposites and the deadline for your entries is June 26th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
