Hey there everyone, DeepRising here with the Weekly News Letter. There was a great response to last week's topic "Eyes". Well done to everybody who entered. Here are the winning Flipnotes.
In our first selection, X-Esther-X has used the DSi camera to make a brilliant photo Flipnote of a blinking eye. Check out the hand erased glint, it really sharpens up the image beautifully.

A mysterious eye on a stalk, falls to its doom, becoming a fried egg, in our next amazing entry by Fru3=). Cooked breakfast anyone? :D
These have got to be the most tearful eyes we've ever seen, in this Flipnote by ★Adison★. But wait, they were only chopped onion tears after all! XD.
In this hilarious entry by ☆FEATHERS☆, one chap scares the living day lights out of another, with a really spectacular eye trick. We've certainly never seen anything like that before! :O
A kitty cat materializes one eye at a time, in this delightful Flipnote by Ana. The timing of the animation with the sound track is just purrrrrfect, great job!
In this well made entry, by Ⓐleks, a fun day of DSi game play is ruined by a sinister figure with their eyeball! Both gross, and hilarious, this had us wide eyed in astonishment, and then laughing out loud!
This week's topic is Back to School. It's that time again! Time to restock the pencil case, get out the school uniform and off to the classroom again! Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? Let us know in the form of a Flipnote.
Your entries could be about any aspect of school you like, or dislike. Teachers, PE, assembly, school dinner, detentions, report cards, your favourite subject, anything at all.
From an 'A+' to a 'See me after class' we really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them. Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel, and the deadline for your entries is August the 25th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT) Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
Here's a link for a really useful article, all about how to record good quality audio for Flipnotes. Why not check it out, and don't forget a pair of socks :D.
