And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Very Nervous". Well done to everybody who entered.
In our first winning WT Flipnote this week, by Jake, a group of actors flee for their very lives to avoid being cast in Mr Sakurai's Character Reveal Trailer.
A daunting prospect indeed, as they could easily end up smashed to pieces!
The nervousness is expressed very effectively with wide eyed trembling animation. Then with a nice anticipation, the action moves straight into a group shriek, swiftly followed by a hilarious mass departure.
We were very impressed with the combination of actions, poses and timing, to create the moment when nervousness becomes blind terror.
Very nicely done!
A nervous young lady is surprised by her friend with extreme results, in this hysterically funny Winning Flipnote by Ⓡí©kⓎ.
The nervous character poses are very well observed, and the massively over the top reaction made us laugh out loud!
Totoro is very nervous about asking to join his companion under their umbrella during a torrential down pour, in this winning topic Flipnote by Hiashi.
Personally, we don't think he'd fit, but nevertheless, he looks right on the verge of suggesting it.
Beautifully drawn and animated, the nervousness is created purely by the flicking look of Totoro's eyes, informing the viewer of just what he's thinking with the tiniest of movements.
This spectacular Meme Collab by Ran☆Chan and Slyray has been spun to the theme of social interaction nervousness.
The beautifully drawn characters work beautifully against the moving shaded backgrounds, and the result is pure eye candy!
"He's late! He's late! For a very important date!"
myst1cal☆ has chosen a fantastically nervous character for this winning Weekly Topic entry.
It's the White Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland. And of course he's so rushed off his feet, that Alice doesn't even get to speak to him!
We loved the drawing style here, and especially the design of the White Rabbit himself. What a splendid character indeed.
Great job.
We were utterly delighted with the idea of our next Winning entry, also starring rabbits, by Animeyay19.
These twin brothers suffer from anxiety when ever they're apart, and they sing with each other in a joint MV.
It really brought a tear to our eye, it was so wonderful to see them so happy together.
If you get apprehensive when you try and draw in front of other people, than this is the Flipnote for you!
A well structured sketch, with an 'Animated Draw' built into the middle of it, this Winning Flipnote, by fabrixio:D tells the tale of the nervous artist to great effect.
Ooh! It looks like they've gone. Quick, get drawing!
The Elephant is the largest existing land animal in the world, weighing in at up to six thousand kilograms. It looks extremely distinctive with its large flapping ears, beautiful curved tusks and long dexterous trunk.
A magnificent creature, it can live up to seventy years old, and when fully grow, has no natural predators.
Your Flipnotes could be about any aspect of the elephant species you like. It's behaviour, it's environment, it's way of life, its history and representation in human culture.
Or why not use cartoon characters for a humorous take on the elephant. They're supposed to be terrified of mice! We're not sure how true that is, but it is ridiculously funny!
Checkout the Disney animated movie Dumbo for some excellent elephant animation. The new CGI version is good too.
And always remember that an elephant never forgets.
So off we all go with a Trumpety-Trump, it's elephant Flipnote time!
We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
