Well done to everyone who entered.
In the style of Robin Hood, a stick man hero bowman leaps to the rescue in this action fueled Topic winner by MⒶZOkidox.
Dynamically edited with extraordinary weapon use, both the movement of the characters and the camera flow together beautifully in an animated sequence jam-packed with ingenious combat visualization, and imaginative ideas.
A royal archer in shining armor defends their castle against many a foe in this winning Topic Flipnote by Joshua.
The sensational siege includes a bridge charge and shoot down, a dragon attack, and many beautifully animated bow and arrow shots, all rendered in black and blue color separation, which works particularly well to distinguish the archer’s arrows among the action.
We also loved the voice acting, which gives great character and comedy to each and every protagonist.
A Minecraft Skeleton shoots a perfect bulls-eye in this Topic winning Flipnote by Drake Star.
The drawing back of the bow is superbly executed, snapping too with anticipatory frames. This is followed by a wizz-pan of the arrow in flight, and ends stylishly as it hits its mark with a vibrating target “Twang”!
A stick man wishes they’d never been born in this hilariously directional Topic winning entry by Potato.
What began as an informative structure has somehow ensnared the hapless stick man inside its giant, spring-loaded mechanism, with repeatedly painful results.
For the correct route, just follow the exhausted groans!

This topic winning entry by mrbobpop focuses on an arrow’s release from its bow.
Illustrated with feathered flights and a broadhead tip the arrow is fired from a traditional longbow, similar to those used in medieval times.
In the mysterious amusement ‘Land Of The Arrows’, there’s only one thing you need to do!
But unfortunately, following the arrows as instructed, leads to anything but being fine, in this terrifyingly entertaining Topic winner by Ronman®.
Parodying the William Tell Legend, the shooting of an apple off a friend’s head doesn’t go at all according to plan in this eye watering Topic entry by Soups.
The definition of Exaggeration in animation means making things bigger, smaller, or more extreme than they would be in real life.
This helps to make the animation more interesting and fun.
Your Flipnotes could be exaggerated in many different ways.
For example:
Exaggerated movements, characters, character features (Like big eyes and noses), facial expressions, character poses, dialogue delivery, or even the original idea itself!
Go big, bigger, then bigger again!
And wow us with your hugely exaggerated Flipnotes.
We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Exaggeration In Animation and the deadline for your entries is January 28th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).
We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.
And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.
Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
