March 24th, 2019: Sudomemo Weekly News

Hey there everyone, DeepRising here with the Weekly News Letter. There was a great response to last week's topic "Saint Patrick's Day". Well done to everybody who entered. Here are the winning flipnotes.

Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Saint Patrick's Day"

In our first delightful entry, by trin, a lucky girl finds a 4 leaf clover in a field. She's sure gonna have a happy Saint Patrick's day!

[unknown]

There's a funny surprise with a fox and a clover in this next entry by マソメンミ. We loved the charming little fox character, and the bird song sound track sets the scene beautifully.

[unknown]

This next entry, by Kêithkash★, is not only entertaining, but informative too. Set to the song of the same name, it tells the story of Saint Patrick wonderfully, accompanying the music with great animation and drawings. We particularly loved the singing Leprechaun :D.

A lucky Clover is found, but then lost in a gust of wind, in this Flipnote by Kyle. We really enjoyed the sense of triumph at finding the clover, and there's some nice effects and character poses too.

In this awesome entry by kenpa(ケンパ), the holy trinity transforms into a giant Saint Patrick Robot, to do battle with a Godzilla like foe who is about to destroy mankind. When that monster appeared, we were quaking in our boots! Thank goodness Saint Patrick Robo turns up! We were very impressed with this creative interpretation of the topic, the monster-movie style mixed with a transformer twist made for a super-exciting Flipnote. Very well done for finishing this in the time.

This week we added Sword Art Online and Voltron channels. You can find them under the Fandoms category.

This Weeks Topic - "Jumping"

This week's topic is Jumping. This would include people, animals and vehicles, or why not all three together! XD Jumping is a classic athletic activity. There's the long jump and the high jump as well as many variations in, for example, dance and Parkour. Many fictional characters are great jumpers, such as The Hulk, and the Bionic Man. There's many fantastic jumpers in nature too, such as horses, cats and monkeys, and in the insect world, crickets and flees can jump incredible distances for their size. If you want to go down the jumping vehicle route, monster trucks leap to mind, and of course the dare devil Eavel Kineval risked life and limb, jumping enormous distances on his motorbike, over buses and all sorts of other things. We really love the way your all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the flipnotes you create for them. Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel, and the deadline for your entries is the 31st of March. Keep on flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
