Hey there everyone, DeepRising here with the Weekly Newsletter and Weekly Topic competition.
We had a great response to last week's topic SpongeBob SquarePants, and a selection of our favorite winning entries are coming up.
But first, if you're thinking about making a topic Flipnote, don't forget to check out next week's topic theme and it's description, as well as the subsequent Upcoming Topics listed at the end of the Newsletter.
Also, don't miss the links in the topic description for inspiration and further information on the theme (Access these links through the Sudomemo Theatre online site).
And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "SpongeBob SquarePants". Well done to everybody who entered.
In our first Spongebob topic selection this week, by Jake Squidward has been learning a new musical instrument.
Or has he?
The character drawing, lip-synch and facial expressions are perfectly in style with the SpongeBob cartoon, capturing the action and comedy just right.
Great job!
Using his own OCs, and audio from the series, Goodi⬆⬇ has created a hilarious scene between SpongeBob and Mr Krabs.
It’s such fun to see SpongeBob voices performed by Flipnote characters.
Very nicely done.
In our next voice-acted topic winner, by Dabby166 a SpongeBob summoning experiment is attempted at 3am in the morning.
Will he appear, or won’t he?
Watch to find out!
Ⓑarkegoof sings a merry SpongeBob song for this weekly topic winning MV.
We just loved seeing Patrick and SpongeBob in their burger-car.
Go guys, go!
Black holes are the most powerful and awesome force in the universe!
Not even light can escape from them!
Shrouded in mystery, and linked with the creation and destruction of the cosmos, it’s said that past the event horizon of a black hole, the laws of physics and space time no longer apply.
The topic would include super massive blavkholes, stellar blackholes in a science lab, cartoon blackholes (See link below), and any other blackhole type creation you can think of.
What happens if you get sucked into a blackhole?
What could be on the other side of a blackhole?
How would you create a blackhole with animation?
Why not show us your ideas and techniques, in the form of a Flipnote
Here’s a couple of links to videos about, and featuring different types of blackholes:

We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Black Holes and the deadline for your entries is November 21st (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).
Also, we would encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.
And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.
Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
