Our Favorite Flipnotes from last weeks Topic "Unusual Movement"

In our first topic winning selection this week, by CosmicGAZ, after returning home, Gaze’s movements become astonishingly erratic, much to the dismay of her brother Gaz.

Including spiraling limbs, speed bouncing, and even full body undulation, it’s a seriously bizarre episode of unusual movement.

As to the cause of it, who can say.

But it’s making a terrible mess of their lovely home. “Chuckle”

Experimenting with new styles of animation, User has created this stunning animation of a wailing cartoon character.

Using both squash and stretch, and extreme movements, he pops back and forth between calm composure and sudden outbursts of bawling his eyes out in an extraordinary display of action and emotion.

A perfectly normal looking blob goes through a series of surprising metamorphoses in this outlandish topic winner by ♥SQUIRMLY♥.

Stretching and distorting to the point of filling the screen, each unusual movement is accompanied by an equally unusual sound effect, culminating in a truly eyebrow raising final form.

Mario and Luigi are definitely behaving strangely in this topic winning entry by Mario209.

Instead of running and jumping, they’re flying around, flapping their arms like birds. And not only that, but Mario actually makes his brother into a Luigi-Launcher for an aerial attack.

Bowser is in unusual trouble now!

We were very impressed with the unusual mouth movements showcased in this topic winner by Creaky.

But be warned, the final transformation is not for the weak of heart.

It’s one scary Mouth-Monster!

Wacky’s family takes a trip to the fairground in this hilarious winning entry by Jake.

However, the ticket seller at the gate is more than a little disturbed when Gramps starts behaving unusually in the background.

He’ll need at least several sessions of therapy to get over that!

Usually the movement of vehicles is provided by their wheels.

But in this Flipnote by Sonic069, a rental van is programmed to return with the use of a pair of legs.

Now there’s something you don’t see every day!

Demonstrating highly unusual arm movement with casual flare, a stickman changes the channel on his TV, in this winning topic entry by Ⓑarkegoof.

This Weeks Topic - "Disguises"

A good disguise can be an effective camouflage, an identity change, or even a matter of life or death!

Whereas a bad disguise could be embarrassing, or also hilarious fun.

From the comical fake nose, glasses and mustache, to the sophisticated Mission Impossible style silicone masks, disguises come in all different types.

A disguise could be an outfit, a uniform, involve make-up, a wig, facial appliances, or a full body suit.

They’re especially useful if you’re a secret agent. And also if you're attending a fancy dress party.

Can you come up with interesting ways for using a disguise?

Why not show us in the form of a Flipnote.

Here’s another idea you might like to try:

A Flipnote Idea For This Topic

Why not disguise yourself in a DSi photograph.

Take a picture of yourself and import it. Then have fun using Flipnote tools, drawing, shading, or photo-pasting to alter your appearance in any way you like.

See if you can fool us with your cunning disguise. Or make us laugh with a ludicrous one.

We await your alternate personas in whatever form they might take!

. We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.

Make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Disguises and the deadline for your entries is July 31st (12pm EST / 4pm GMT).

We would also encourage you to add a description to your Flipnotes. This is your opportunity to explain any points of interest and specific details that we could feature in the topic winner reviews.

And don't forget, if you want a cool thumbnail picture on your Flipnote, whichever frame you save the Flipnote on, that will become the thumbnail. So choose your favorite frame for this, or add in a cool title page at the end, and save on that.

Keep on Flipnoting and the best of luck with your entries.
