We’re really excited about this fantastic new feature, and hope you all use and enjoy it as much as possible.
And now, here are the winning Flipnotes from last week's topic "Splash". Well done to everybody who entered.
This poor little fellow fills up an enormous water balloon, only to receive a visit from the phantom balloon popper, in this great Flipnote by Glin. Whoops, that's quite a splash!
Mario and Luigi are having a lovely time frolicking in the pool, until Bowser crashes the party, in this explosively funny entry, by Flash Beam. And judging by the size of that wave, Warrio is going to be pretty furious too. A tree is teeming with life on a rainy day, in this wacky animated cycle by keîko. The ingenious vocal sound effects add beautifully to the Flipnote's surreal quality that we loved so much. He steps up, he leaps, the dive looks good! But wait, oh no he's lost it! And the crowd looks away, as the colossal belly flop lands, in this hysterical Flipnote by JioSeff. [unknown] A cat gets a thorough drenching when it knocks over a goldfish bowl, in this charming entry by Blitzer. A leaping and swimming fish moves with astounding realism, in this awesome entry by Slyray. The design of the fish, with a separated tail works extremely well with the animated actions. Also, the underwater background was absolutely amazing! We just loved this splendid dive-bomb animation by Ricecakez. The animated splash and rippling water worked brilliantly! An interesting idea involving splashing works really well, in this entry by sonic, when a glass of water tries to shake out a bug that's fallen into it. Whoops, that's a crash and a splash! On July the 23rd, it's National Hot Dog Day! So this week's topic is all about the humble hot dog.
A convenient fast food, the hot dog can be easily eaten on the go! A frankfurter sausage in a sliced bun. The hotdog typically comes with ketchup and mustard on it, but can be garnished with all manner of toppings from sauerkraut, melted cheese, coleslaw or even chilli.
How about creating your own original toppings for a spectacular and outrageous hot dog.
In America hot dogs are sold from street carts and have a strong association with baseball. Hot dogs are also a popular food for professional eating contests. The world record currently stands at sixty nine! How many hot dogs could you eat?
Why not make animated characters out of hot dogs, like in the many different advertising brands of wieners and dogs on the market.
Whichever way you want to interpret this topic it's up to you, just don't forget the ketchup!
We really love the way you're all so creative with these topics and look forward to seeing the Flipnotes you create for them.
Don't forget to add a title and description to your entry, and make sure to post your entries to the Weekly Topic channel Weekly Topic - Hot Dogs and the deadline for your entries is July 26th (12pm EST / 4pm GMT)
